Thirty-six B-24-H’s took off at 0854 to 0919 to bomb Arezzo M/Y. Three returned early. No bombs were dropped on target as it was completely obscured by overcast. Contrary to information first given in Flash Report, thirty-three jettisoned 82-1/2 tons in sea and other non-target areas, and 3 brought back 7-1/2 tons to base. Thirty-three returned to base at 1415 hours. None at friendly fields.

Rendezvoused with 450th Group at 0945 hours at 6,000 feet over Manduria. Continued on course until IP (Sansepolcro), then upon encountering complete overcast over target area, continued on to Italian West coast. Continued on route back to base.
